As part of this high streets project, businesses based in the inner east of the city can get support from our Citylife Business Support programme through external experts to develop, grow and diversify their business.
Citylife aims to support businesses to adapt to the changing high street landscape, whether that’s providing new or additional ways to interact and provide your products and services, or reviewing the business premise you occupy and finding new ways to attract and retain customers.
We have over 40 experts on hand through the Citylife Business Support programme who can help you in a wide range of business areas, for example marketing, websites and digital communications (such as social media and podcasting), retail experts, green sustainable business, finance and funding and many more. Working with one or two of the Citylife experts, businesses can tap into up to 12 hours of free bespoke support to help you develop your business.
All the experts are listed on the link below and offer a free initial conversation to discuss any questions or help you may need. The Citylife Business Support programme can then offer you additional fully funded support and our experts will be able to guide you through the simple application process.

We have teamed up with Green Street, a national initiative to help high street businesses adopt better, greener ways of trading. They are working with 25 businesses in the East End of Newcastle to help them in their path towards sustainability. More information can be found here.
